[Where your input goes] Your message is sent to third-party generative AI (Google Gemini or Groq) to build a plan, and to Google services (Geocoding API, Routes API, Places API (New), etc.) for address normalization and route/travel-time estimates. The feature runs on infrastructure such as Cloudflare; traffic may be subject to their security practices and logging. [Location access and transmission] The 'Use my location' toggle is ON by default. If you request a plan with the toggle ON, your device's current location (latitude and longitude) will be sent to our server and used to suggest nearby spots. The coordinates are also sent to Google (Geocoding API) to determine your area name, and may be logged by Google. Routes and travel times from your location are accurate only within about 3 km of a Sapporo City subway station or streetcar stop (farther away, plans are made without your location). If you do not want to share your location, please turn the toggle OFF before requesting a plan. [Do not enter sensitive data; your responsibility] Do not enter personally identifiable or sensitive information (e.g. name, address, phone, email, employer, date of birth, payment or health data, political or religious beliefs, or anyone else’s confidential or private information). If you enter such information by mistake or include prohibited content, neither the site operator nor the creators of Satrip content (collectively, “we”) will be liable for any resulting harm. [Retention and further use] We may store and review your submissions in access logs, error logs, rate-limit records, and similar records needed to run and protect the service. Third parties (AI and map providers) may process your input under their own terms and privacy policies, including possible secondary or further use such as quality improvement, analytics, or model training. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you will not hold us liable for any loss arising from transmission, logging, or such processing or use (only non-waivable statutory liability may apply where required).
